It's Datapipe who topped the last monthly Netcraft ranking of the best performing clouds and hosts worldwide. It's not really a surprise. The American host is indeed present in the top 10 of the charts Netcraft for the eighth consecutive month. Besides the United States, Datapipe was deployed to Europe via two data centers located in London.
Just behind GoDaddy moved up to second place in the Netcraft Index. In the two previous editions of the charts, in January and February, the host of Arizona had successively ranked 35th and 16th. Good indicators that occur when the company has just come on the stock market (see article: IPO, the American GoDaddy hosting up $ 460 million). Claiming 12.7 million customers, mostly SMEs, GoDaddy is also established in Europe through a data center in Amsterdam.
Two European providers in the Top 5
Positioned on the high end hosting is ServerStack which occupies the third place. This web host, also from the United States, is as Datapipe and GoDaddy present on the old continent with a data center in Amsterdam. To complete the top 5, two European players rank just behind: English Bigstep, a cloud-based storage and analytics specialist, Netcetera and Switzerland, which focuses him on hosting critical applications.
